How valid such decisions are cannot always be easily captured in a resource such as this. Where possible, we try to provide links to media coverage of each vote in order that you may obtain context.

The panel at the bottom of screen shows Asheville's current sitting councilors. The councilors are presented in an order that is based on their voting records for the items listed in the above panel. You can click on any councilor to see more information.
Choose the settings menu in the top menu to adjust how many years the app goes back in its calculations.
Note: Choosing a longer duration for looking back may result in "apples to oranges" comparisons. Consider a case, for example, where a new councilor is presented alongside one whose term ended several years ago.
