On October 10th, Asheville City Council will be voting on a resolution regarding a “Complete Streets” plan for College St. and Patton Ave. downtown.

Asheville For All believes that moving away from automobile-exclusive street design and towards those that welcome pedestrians and bicyclists is a matter of affordability and inclusivity. If we’re going to have housing abundance, and a variety of housing options for ALL kinds of Ashevilleans and their families, we need to embrace a variety of transportation modes, especially modes that are less costly, less polluting, and more space-efficient than automobiles.
